Prepping for Hair Color..

I’m ready to color my natural locks. I’m just bored with what I have, but aren’t we all? I was cruising the Essence Hair Galleries for a new style. I love braids, wigs, hats, anything to re-invent myself. I love the hair color that I saw in the Locs and Twists section. I love the deep reddish brown in the back with the orangy blonde in the front. This is exactly the hair color that I want to go for! I’m going to my stylist, Veronica Scales of Hair on You so she can work her magic.

To prepare my hair, I think I’ll use Aveda Damage Remedy twice a week. I swear, this line has kept my hair virtually damage free since I started using it a few months back. You’ve heard me talk about it ever since, and I won’t stop. If you hair prone to breakage, split ends, dryness, etc, you must try this collection!!! I also want to try the Aveda Brilliant Collection, which I hear is amazing as well. As you know, I use Sap Moss like it’s my job.

I’ve recently been using 100% Glycerin and Aloe Vera Gel in my hair to keep the curls poppin‘ and moisturized. At night, and like to use Curls Milkshake for a bit of a moisture boost, and I seal it in with my Keracare Essential Oils or an oil cocktail that I created. Oh yes, and gotta keep Boundless Tresses on the scalp for that extra hair growth! I firmly believe this will be a winning combination!!! Wish me luck!!
