I’m absolutely in love with this picture of Eve. She wears a nude, flawless face with vampy eyes and sexy lashes. I am SO glad to see her taking a chance on an amazing, bold lip. Do you know what else I have noticed? I always go through various face charts from fashion shows, and I notice that the look is clean, dewy, with a bolder lip. I really, really love this look! After making the recommendation above, I tried to incorporate the two looks, and here’s what I came up with!

LOL… i love it you and eve. one of my fav classic photos with lashes out loud and bold lips is the LV ad that’s been circulating since prob the spring. a bunch of girls are laid out around a car with those elbow length sheer gloves…? i hope you know what i’m speaking of.. i use that simple, but bold look all the time.

    This lip is beautiful on you! Who said black girls can’t do it big like that?? Another lipstick that I enjoy wearing when I wanna schock in Schiap by Nars. Its like the ultimate pink, but who knew, it looks great on our skin!

    love love love bold lips. find it sooo hard to do it without making my face look ashen, but i’ve realised I need to keep it all dewy and glossy to work.

    I went out last week and I totally threw together a bold bright pink lip and a sort of neutral eye look. I didn’t even realize that seeing this picture was the inspiration for it! And the lipstick I used was from a drugstore so I was very surprised that it gave me the color payoff it did and that it lasted as long as it did (all night and then some!) I guess that if I love the look enough, it’ll become part of my mind and then when I’m least expecting it I’ll pull it out of my ‘bag of tricks’! Thanks!
