1. Fly Girl Blog
Fly Girl Blog has been a favorite of mine for years. Designer Andrea Pippins displays a collections of artsy fashion, music and design posts that keeps me longing for more. When I saw that she recommended Lianne La Havas (a singer who’s voice is pure heaven), I knew I automatically trusted her. It’s such a small world–I work with one of her students (I just found out 3 days ago) and she adores her too!
2. Kyla Roma
This is a mix of more things than I can name. She has so many great articles, it’s hard to just pick a few. You absolutely have to read On Making Space for a Creative Life, Happiness and a Day Job. Inspiration quote met. She talks food, design, inspiration, Canada and all things in between. She’s the co-owner of Freckled Nest Design, an uber cute web design company.
3. Girl’s Just Wanna Have Funds
If you’re looking for more ways to save money, Or any other financial ideas, this is the place to be. My bestie Miriam told me about her last year, and I’ve been hooked every since.
4. 9 to 5 Chic
I love this woman because she mirrors my style goals. Granted, you wont see me rocking a Celine bag or Chanel pumps anytime soon. I love her practical style, it’s so classic!
5. Aphrochic
Interior design From a woman with great style. I’d gladly buy her designs for my home (if I could afford them!). I love following her design adventures and getting to see what inspires her.
6. Chestnut Orange
Have you ever seen someone who you felt was a lot like you and thought you’d have a blast hanging out? This is how I feel about Nicole at Chestnut Orange. She’s a DC girl who has fantastic adventures hanging out in the city, listening to live jazz, and looking at dope, artsy things. Whenever she recommends something, I do it!
7. Soul Bounce
Soul Bounce is a collaborative music blog. I love it because they aren’t featuring the same old mainstream artists that are overkill to my ears. I check in all the time, and I’ve added several artists to spotify due to their suggestions.
Honarble Mention:
I just found Bambi’s Armoire the other day on Bloglovin’. I immediately HeyTell’ed my blogger buddy Justin and told him about her! She’s got a clean, trendy but classic style that’s refreshing to see. Can’t wait to see more!
