Make Up For Ever Black Tango Aqua Cream Palette

My favorite brand has done it again, folks! Check out the new Black Tango Palette ($45). It’s packed with traditional Fall colors, but this time, MUFE offers them in their Aqua Creams.

These four colors will work perfectly as eye shadow and eyeliner. There’s a double-sided brush that comes with the palette, but I somehow misplaced mine. I hate when that freakin’ happens.

Yes! I love the vivid image of a tango dancer’s fan! So chic!

Make Up For Ever Black Tango Aqua Cream Palette Swatches

There are a few reasons why I love, love, love Aqua Creams. Unlike MAC Paint Pots, these are super soft to the touch, while still being packed with pigment. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a total fan of the Paint Pots, but sometimes you have to damn near scrape them out for maximum impact. I took a quick swipe of each color, and placed them on my hand. No tugging or excessive rubbing. I let it set for about 20 seconds, then rubbed vigorously. No smudging whatsoever.

So, here’s the catch. You better work fast when you use these. They’re going to really last, and once they dry, they’re on. For real. This palette will be available in September at Sephora.com and Make Up For Ever Boutiques.

Note: This palette was sent to me by the company for possible consideration. It was too fabulous not to share!

hi erin! that dark navy blue color is something that i’ve been looking for for quite some time! i didn’t realize how hard it is to find a navy shadow (powder or cream) that has a true navy payoff. i want!!!

Hey Janel! You are SO right. Many of them just don’t stay “navy”. You have to pack on all kinds of bases and use assorted techniques to make them the color in the jar/case!

Oh dear, is it really bad if I mostly want this for the packaging? I’ve never tried MUFE aqua creams before but I have often heard them raved about. I may have to try them and this palette looks ideal (and again, love the packaging!).

Thanks for the review and keeping us in the loop. I am not feeling the shades and yes I know they are for fall. Are they sold individually?
