I was determined to make a video this month. I hate these long hiatuses, and the only way to beat them is to just start recording! I was hanging out in my room, and found this concealer. I had never used it, and the only thing that it would work for is a highlight. I knew my skin had to be extra moist for perfect blending, so I used the same serum and moisturizer that I always use, plus some primer on top. Then, I added the concealer, and kept adding more and more product until I realized that this would be my video face.
Here’s what’s in the picture:
Make Up For Ever HD Primer – I’ve never used this before! I tried this because I needed to give my skin some extra “slip”.
MAC Mineralize Concealer NC42 to highlight+ Ben Nye Banana Powder to set the highlight (here’s a swatch on my face)
Black Opal Foundation Stick in Hazelnut – I swiped it all over my cheeks, chin, forehead, you name it. I’m wearing a lot!
Scott Barnes Luminizing Mist – I sprayed this all over my contour brush, and buffed in my foundation with it. This is one of my favorite products in the world, and it broke my heart when it was discontinued years ago. It really does add a microfine sheen to your skin. I use it sparingly. (Check out a demo in this Make Up For Ever HD tutorial)
MAC Metalrock Skinfinish – I applied this over the Cover Girl Queen Bronzer and MAC Burnt Pepper blush. The look needed more of a glow, and this product always delivers! Another of my favorite products ever created, discontinued. Here’s a better look and review.
MAC Mystery Kohl Power – I love this dark green pencil! I don’t wear it often, but thought it would be cool to switch it up today. I rarely see greens that are this vivid, especially in pencils.
MAC NW35 Studio Touch Up Stick- I applied this in my inner lashline. I usually apply a dark pencil here, but I decided to open the eye instead of keeping it totally dark.
