I will make a vow, right here, right now. I’m not buying another cream eyeliner other than this one. The liner I’m referring to is Black Radiance Continuous Creme Eyeliner. I purchased this for $3.97 at my local Walmart. Unbelievable. Let me explain why it’s so outstanding:
You see, Warren told me about this gem a few years back. He was going out of town and didn’t have any liner, so he picked up this one at CVS. He raved about it. This is a rarity from Warren. I still have some liners, so I didn’t try it.
It’s almost creamier than my MAC or Make Up For Ever liners. In all fairness, I wanted to swatch this next to said liners. However, they are both a little over 6 months old, and definitely don’t have the texture that my new liner has. If I were to swatch all of them when I bought them, I would be able to make a better comparison.

The day that I purchased the Black Radiance liner, I also posted one of the L’Oreal Eye Kohl pencils. I wasn’t crazy about it at all. I’ve tried much better pencils than that. Not only that, I meant to pick up black, and I bought silver by mistake. In this image, you’ll see swatches of both L’Oreal and Black Radiance liners.
There were two tests that this liner passed:
1. I applied a full face of makeup last week, using the liner on upper and lower lids. By midnight, I went to take my makeup off, and my eye shadow was creasing, my foundation was barely there, and the eyeliner appeared to have been put on 10 minutes ago. It was perfect. Absolutely perfect. No smudging, no moving.
2. My mua friend Meagan applied a thick line of liner to her hand the other day, and basically gave herself rug burn trying to get it off. It didn’t budge. This lets me further know that it’s the one.
Overall–Go out and get this liner y’all. Seriously. You’ll be able to pick this up at many drugstores and convenience stores, and online at drugstore.com and walgreens.com.
