My name is Erin Bailey, and I’m a makeup loving lady living in Maryland.  I created Scandalous Beauty in December of 2005. The focus of the blog was to introduce women to a new perspective of using makeup.  Topics included beauty reviews and tutorials, celebrity beauty and style.

I’m proud to say that SB has received several awards and mentions, including the Black Weblog Award for Best Fashion and Style Blog in ’08. Scandalous Beauty was also featured as a Top Black Beauty Blogger by Essence Magazine online. My Youtube channel has over 4,000,000 video views.

As an avid social media aficianado, I aim to use each platform in a new way. I created the #makeupchat hashtag in 2011, which has over 6,000 tweets. I love public speaking, and I’d be honored to speak at your conference.
