Goodness gracious. I have found a line of makeup that is in its own luxe category. Scott Barnes is one of the hottest, freshest, sexiest lines I have ever played with. Does his name sound familiar? He’s the Makeup Artist that supposedly dished all the dirt about his ex-client, Jennifer Lopez. But hey, this isn’t a gossip column, just hoping to refresh your memories!

Doesn’t she look hot in this pic from InStyle magazine?? He beat her face good!!! (Just to clarify, to “beat a face” means to do gorgeous makeup.)
Here’s a teeny summary.

Flossy Glossy lipgloss is impeccible. I was astonished at the depth of color in the tube. With the slightest touch of the brush to my lips, color exploded onto my mouth! Even from a distance, the sparkle from the gloss was insane. Ugh, I can’t explain it enough! There are 13 luscious shades, and I guarantee I will have all of them by the end of the year. I tried Black Currant, a deep eggplant, perfect for a night out. I can see it now: a sexy black dress, patent leather pumps, a neutral eye, Marisa lashes and this gloss. Yum. I also tried Vivid, described on the site as a luscious fuschia. If you like bold lips, here ya go. To lighten it up, put on a clear gloss, then dab a teeny bit of the Vivid right on top. Yum again.

Eye Ice looks like alot of fun! I didn’t get to play with them, but I really want to. Scottbarnes.com says “The loose shimmering powder of Eye Ice enhances and adds radiant versatility to eyes. With Eye Ice, Scott Barnes enables women to communicate with their most expressive and elusive feature – the window to their souls. Simply frost eyes with a dusting of ice to convey an aura of mystery and glamour, as the colors subtly transform in different lights and angles.” Sounds like a winner to me!

Cream Concealer was also pretty darn impressive. The dark color has alot of orange to it, which is actually a good thing, because orange can help neutralize brown skin. There aren’t alot of colors to choose from, but the consistency of the product is excellent. I had to use it sparingly to make sure it didn’t alter the color of my foundation, but otherwise, it’s a potential keeper.
I have a few other favorites that I played with, but I am going to have to give you the scoop on them a bit later. Can’t dish everything right now, you know???
All of the links and pictures posted are for Saks.com, but feel free to view the entire line of Scott Barnes cosmetics on ScottBarnes.com.
Until next time…stay Fab!!!
