I Love This Look: Dolce & Gabbana Beauty at Milan Fashion Week

Dolce and Gobbana Beauty Smokey Eye Look

Want to know my go-to ‘night on the town’ look? It’s the non-smokey smokey eye. Dark all around the eye without all of the extra eyeshadow. Simple, and oh, so effective. Here’s the look at Dolce & Gabbana this week. Black and coffee eyeliners, plus eyeshadow quad in Femme Fatale were used for this look. Perfect Finish Creamy Foundation was applied all over face. The makeup team was lead by the one and only Pat McGrath.

Update–I Love This Look: Pink Cheeks on Brown Skin at Tracy Reese c/o Mally Beauty

Mally beauty created the look for the Tracy Reese 2012 Spring/Summer Fashion Week show. For this gorgeous cheek, Mally’s team used 24/7 Cream Blush kit in Medium High. This looks like the perfect easy-to-wear brown girl pink blush! I’m totally a fan of orange and pink blush on Women of Color, so this gets me giddy. Check out this video tutorial where I wear one of my favorite pink blushes, MAC Azalea.

Halle Berry and Gucci Westman for Revlon

Fashion’s Night Out was jam packed throughout my Twitter timeline last night. The streets of fashionable cities all over the world threw parties (and had sales) in the name of Vogue. While I love the world of fashion, I’m forever indebted to the world of beauty. Icon Halle Berry and leading makeup artist Gucci Westman were the headliners for Rag & Bone in NYC. Don’t you love how stunning Halle looks? Barely there makeup is always in.

Make Up For Ever Sponsors Fashion Week Swim

For the second year in a row, MAKE UP FOR EVER is the official makeup sponsor for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim. They’ll be backstage at 13 shows, creating the perfect looks for the runway…and the beach.  Look out for them at shows including Ed Hardy Swimwear, Tyler Rose and True Religion Swimwear.   In true high fashion form, there will be a MAKE UP FOR EVER beauty cabana set up at The Raleigh, ready to touch up your look.

If you happen to be in the massive state of Florida, stop by Sephora South Beach on Saturday, July 17th from 4-7p. The “Smudge-Proof your Summer Makeup” party is definitely a must stop.  Who doesn’t want makeup that will last through sweat, rain, ocean water and a mid-summer breakup? They’ll be doing complimentary makeovers for a hot night out.
