I’m not much of a drugstore beauty person, as you might know. But maybe all those bright colors just drew me to this collection. Finally, I’m noticing that these brands of makeup are starting to posess this high end quality. It’s so refreshing to see exciting makeup!!!
Here’s what I bought.

Vibrant Shimmer Bronzing Powder in Glowing- I really like these, and I will probably buy the other three for my kit. They all come in different variations of brown. The color is very even, sheer and easy to use. It isn’t a ton of glitter on your face, but gives you that glow. Very, very pretty.

Concentrated Shadow Duo in Sassy-I bought this duo for the frosty taupe color. It’s fabulous. Super frosty, gorgeous. The teal is nice as well. The color comes off very rich, you don’t have to dig and press and fight to make the color appear as it really is. I already have colors that resemble most of these shadows, but I might buy a few more for the heck of it.

Illuminating Highlighter-This isn’t an item needed for everyday, but it sure does set off a look. These highlighters are creamy and have the perfect amount of pigment to them, just enough that they don’t have to be blended down to hard. Highlighters are used to bring attention to an area, so I would use it around the frame of the eye (basically where you can feel the eye cavity).

Overall, I love HIP. Tons of color and great quality. The next things I’ll buy are the glosses and blush cremes. Go out and take a look at your local drugstore or Target, Wal-mart, etc.
